Love Rhino / 2Bit Split 12" Re-release
The good people at Invisible Agent Records have re-released my 2004 split 12" for free download. Click on the image at the bottom of the page to link to the files. There are plenty of other Invisible Agent releases newly available for free download. You can still purchase the original 12" if you are a vinyl purist.
Biography
I am Love Rhino (né Jonathan O'Riordan) a singer, guitarist and electronic producer born in Dublin. I have been making musical noises of various sorts since the early 1990s. As a singer-songwriter, I have played in various venues in Dublin, Galway, London, Paris, San Francisco, Auckland and Wellington. I have also played in various bands as guitarist, bassist and singer. I began making electronic music in 1999. My first electronic performance was in 2002 for Alphabet Set at the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival. I released my first record two years later; a white label 12" on the Invisible Agent label. My current musical flavour has been described as a fusion of guitar and electronic instruments, resulting in a rich, vibrant, uplifting sound with a distinctly funky edge.
Previous Releases
To date, there have been two Love Rhino releases. The first was a double A side white label 12" released in 2004, featuring two pounding dancefloor stompers from me. The second was a free mp3 Mini Album (click the image below to download album), with nine tracks in all, featuring the Love Rhino signature blend of guitars, synths, vocals and electronic beats.
